First-ever swimming lessons trying to prevent high number of drownings in Vanuatu

SUMMARY: A new pilot project in Vanuatu is teaching children valuable lifesaving and swimming skills for the very first time, in a bid to prevent drowning deaths. Boat travel is an essential part of life in Vanuatu to visit other villages, tend to gardens of go to school on neighboring islands. American expatriate and certified swim instructor Nancy Miyake's behind the trial that's collaborating withe the local school and a youth center.

PERSUASIVE:

 I think it is the real volunteer work. Actually, I hope to serve society like this, not just making a donation. Such donation of talent help us give other people the heartfelt mind. This article not only gave me a lot impression but also will motivate other people who prepare the volunteer work to do sincerely.

Vanuatu offers ‘Beachcomber’ lifestyle and buy-to-let investment options

SUMMARY:

  The Republic of Vanuatu is seeing growing demand from overseas investors who can receive residency when buying property. This article shows that foreign people buy property to find an idyllic lifestyle in Vanuatu. The Republic of Vanuatu is a unique escape paradise for investor and a tax haven, with no income tax or corporate tax. In fact, many people experience such lifestyle in Vanuatu and enjoy their great life.

PERSUASIVE:

  I choose this article because I entirely concur with this. When I retire, I will buy small property in somewhere silent, built small house to live, and relax my busy life. In particular, it will be best there is a clear beach like South Pacific.

Vanuatu NGO celebrates 25 years

SUMMARY:

  Wan Smolbag Theatre is a non-government organization(NGO) based in Vanuatu. Wan Smolbag celebrates 25 years of work in the arts and in the community this week. The group began with a small band of actors, now produces plays, films, CDs, television and teaching resources across the Pacific. It is a unique organization that has traversed many different issues. 

PERSUASIVE:

  It also about 25 years since Vanuatu separated from France. I am impressed Wan Smolbag is partner of Navuatu's history, now stretches all over the world. Furthermore, I feel abashed while I am reading these article because I realize that I don't know about my country well. I think I have to take care of our society.
